"Tobe Taylor and T2 Fitness has been a blessing and miracle to my life. When Tobe told me in October of 2010 that I could make it, I was very skeptical because my fitness attempts failed in the past. Tobe made me believe I could do it and with his dedication, motivation and support I have come a very long way!! Since then I've lost 85lbs and still losing!!! Ive always loved my life but since being successful in my journey I'm in love with my life and I'm only pushing forward from now on.T2 Fitness believes in you when you can't see the vision for yourself. After you see it they just encourage and support you to be better every day."
"I’ve always been at war with my body. Over the years my weight has fluctuated drastically (by over 100 lbs.) as I went through many cycles of binge/over-eating followed by extreme restriction/starvation. Tobe is all about making sustainable changes to be the best you can be. With them pushing me through some tough but fun workouts, and with their food guidance. I’m finally transforming into a shape I can live with. Something else I love about T2 is the positive, comfortable atmosphere. Everyone there is so supportive and encouraging toward everyone else. Though I am very socially awkward/shy, the friendly people at T2 put me at ease which makes working-out even more fun."
In March 2017 I could no longer deny that I had let myself get out of shape and over weight. Because of the extra weight, not exercising like I should, and not making the best nutritional choices, I began to have a couple health related concerns emerging. One day in March I finally decided I was done with my excuses of why I had become overweight, being tired, hating the way I looked and felt, and I decided it was time to change my health and my destiny. I started slowly, simply downloading an app and tracking calories, but then knew I had to add the fitness piece in to really be successful in this journey. The moment I stepped into Tobe’s gym for one of his Total Body Fit classes I knew his program and his gym were what I needed to transform my body and my health. I was instantly welcomed by Tobe and the others taking the class and felt like I was in the right place to succeed in my journey. One year into this journey and I am 75 pounds smaller and went from being a size 14/16 to a size 2. Tobe’s classes have helped transform my whole body, not just the number on the scale, which has also helped transform my thoughts and emotional fitness as well.
I decided to take my weightloss journey more seriously and since March 5 to present I have lost 26 lbs and 2 pant sizes. I have been doing Bootcamp and afternoon classes with Tobe and have been more conscientious of what and how much I eat. Exercise is the easy part but the hardest is the lifestyle change in my diet. I still eat a lot of foods I always ate but have learned a lot about portion size and also how to incorporate more healthy choices.
My daughter joins me and we are in this journey together. The most important thing to remember the best warrior is not that one that wins all the battle, but the one that can come back and keep fighting. Everything is possible with hard work and dedication. I still have a lot of work to do and hope next time I update you I will be closer to my goal.
